Jet Lag Medication
This service allows our pharmacist to supply melatonin 2mg modified release tablets that can alleviate the symptoms of jet lag after a long-haul flight. This is typically a problem if you are crossing several time zones and some people are more prone to suffering from it than others.
Take one tablet on the night of arrival at your destination about 30 minutes before bed. Repeat this the following night.
The price quoted covers the cost of the consultation and for 4 tablets which should be sufficient for the journey out and your return.
Not suitable for under 18s, pregnant or breast-feeding patients. Also if you have liver or kidney problems, have epilepsy, uncontrolled or severe high blood pressure or on oral blood thinners then this medication should be avoided.
